House for sale comes with a morbidly odd room in Tennessee. See the ‘crazy stuff’
A house that has enormous potential — and some very interesting rooms — has landed on the real estate market in Hixson, Tennessee for $525,000.
It also has managed to turn some heads on social media, as well.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is about 2,900-square feet and is a corner-lot residence, so it faces the rest of the charming neighborhood. And while the views on the exterior are lovely, it’s the interior that will make anyone pause.
Features include:
Primary suite
Walk-in closet
Freestanding primary tub
Covered back porch
Garage
The room that has caught the attention of Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page that highlights unique houses for sale all over the country, is labeled as an “autopsy room” that looks similar a tattoo parlor.
People were … suspicious.
“People can fixate on the embalming room all they want, but a lot of adults forget how to have hobbies and I love that this person/people haven’t,” one person pointed out.
“I’m loving all the hobby rooms, but the traditional, frumpy kitchen (much like mine) just stands out,” someone said.
“Yeah. Right across the street from me. Great view of it from my home office window. No lies told,” another commented.
“Hixson could be the platonic ideal of a suburb, so this is crazy and amazing. I have friends in this neighborhood. This is the most un-Hixson thing possible,” one person expressed.
“Crazy stuff. The house does have great bones though,” someone noted.
Hixson is about a 145-mile drive southeast of Nashville.
