A woman was armed with a screwdriver when police say she stabbed a customer in the drive-thru of a Tennessee McDonald’s.

The attack happened just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the restaurant in Memphis, the city’s police department said in a news release.

The customer told police she was putting her order in at the speaker box when a strange woman approached her car and demanded money, officers said.

When the customer said she didn’t have any, the woman pulled out what looked like a screwdriver and stabbed her in the face with it, she told police.

The woman reportedly uttered, “You should’ve had some money, (expletive)“ and walked out of the parking lot.

Police caught up with the 39-year-old, who they said pushed and kicked officers before she was arrested.

She was charged with aggravated assault and taken to the Shelby County Jail, where she remained in custody on a $25,000 bond as of Nov. 21, online records show.

The victim was treated at the scene and is expected to recover, police said.
