A woman called out for help as she was caught in rushing water in Nevada, video shows.

Officers responded to a wash area near Craig Ranch Regional Park and found the woman being “carried away by rushing water,” North Las Vegas Police said in a July 18 video on Facebook.

Officers pulled her from the water with stop sticks and a long leash, the video shows.

“Quick thinking from these officers, undoubtedly prevented a tragic conclusion,” the department said. “Amazing job by all!”

Craig Ranch Regional Park is a 7-mile drive north from Las Vegas.
