A man was arrested after being accused of ramming into the home of his ex-girlfriend’s mom, Colorado police said.

Westminster officers responded to a Hyland Greens home after getting reports of a domestic disturbance Aug. 31, according to a post on X by the police department.

After investigating, officers learned the man rammed his car into his ex-girlfriend’s mom’s house before leaving the area, police said.

He then crashed into another home, officers said.

After, he came back to the house and tried to run over the mom multiple times, then crashed into the house again, officers said.

Neighbors detained the man until police arrived, and he was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation, officers said.

No one was seriously injured, and both homes are being assessed for damages, police said.

Officers didn’t specify what led to the crash or identify the man, police said.

Westminster is about a 10-mile drive northwest from downtown Denver.
