Jimmy John’s debuts two new toasted sandwiches with a pizza twist. What to know
Jimmy Johns says you no longer have to choose between a pizza and a sandwich.
The sandwich chain is offering two new toasted pizza sandwiches for a limited time, according to a news release.
The toasted Sicilian pizza sandwich is made with salami, capocollo, ham, mozzarella, marinara and a dash of oregano and basil “for authentic Sicilian-inspired flavor.”
There’s also a vegetarian option: the toasted three-cheese pizza sandwich. It combines mozzarella, provolone, parmesan and marinara, topped with oregano and basil.
“Who says you have to pick between pizza and a toasted sandwich?” Jimmy John’s Vice President of Marketing Kate Carpenter said in the release. “Jimmy John’s toasted pizza sandwiches give our fans the best of both worlds.”
The pizza-inspired sandwiches, which debuted Sept. 8, can be ordered nationwide at participating locations in-store, online or through the app.
They aren’t the only new toasted sandwiches, though.
Other toasted sandwiches were launched earlier this year and include the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and the ultimate Italian sandwich.
