Iran Embassy Shares Video of Jesus Exploding Donald Trump's Head in AI Post
An Iranian embassy shared a violent version of President Donald Trump's Truth Social post depicting himself as Jesus Christ.
What Did Donald Trump Post on Truth Social?
Over the weekend, Trump drew backlash after posting an AI image appearing to show him as Jesus, though the president has said he believed the image was meant to depict him as a doctor. He has since deleted the post.
The image showed Trump donning a white robe and red shawl, healing a man while surrounded by four adoring people, including a nurse and a soldier. In the background, an eagle is flying in front of the U.S. flag to the left, soldiers appear to be ascending toward a Heaven-like light in the middle, and another eagle is flying next to military jets to the right.
How Did the Iranian Embassy Respond?
The Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan shared a graphic video mocking Trump's post with an AI-generated video of Jesus jumping into the same scene and punching a bloodied depiction of the president, who then falls into a pit of fire. The video went viral on X, with nearly 7 million views by Wednesday morning.
It comes at a pivotal point in the Iran war as a ceasefire remains in place between the United States and Iran, more than a month after the U.S. and Israel first launched strikes against the country at the end of February.
