Democratic mayoral hopefuls meet in UNCC forum

Three Democrats met at UNCC Charlotte Thursday night for the first forum of Charlotte’s 2015 mayoral race. City Council members Michael Barnes and David Howard and former Mecklenburg Commissioner Jennifer Roberts generally agreed on issues from economic incentives to transit. Mayor Dan Clodfelter could not attend the forum sponsored by the College Democrats. Businessman Scott Stone is the only Republican candidate to have announced. Jim Morrill
