A west Charlotte ministry plans to open its doors to the needy on Christmas morning.

Rev. Brenda Stevenson of New Outreach Christian Center said the ministry will serve hot breakfasts from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Christmas Day to anyone who needs one.

Guests will also receive a Christmas gift, Stevenson said.

New Outreach also fed hundreds of people on Thanksgiving. The ministry is at 3900 Gossett Ave., Charlotte, 28208.
