Eric Trump to appear at Charlotte shooting range for MAGA rally

Eric Trump is scheduled to appear at a Charlotte shooting range on Monday for a campaign event for his father and in support of other Republicans on the 2020 ballot.

The rally, billed as a “Make America Great Again Meetup” of supporters, will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Blackstone Shooting Sports, 2001 Wilkinson Boulevard. The campaign also plans to recruit new volunteers during the meetup.

Eric Trump is an avid hunter who has appeared at North Carolina shooting ranges in the past in support of his father, President Donald Trump.

In 2016, Eric Trump “arrived inconspicuously” at Drake Landing, a 2,000-acre shooting range and preserve on the outskirts of Fuquay-Varina, to drum up support for his father’s presidential bid, The (Raleigh) News & Observer reported at the time.

“I shoot regularly,” Eric Trump told the crowd, according to the News & Observer. “If I’m not working, it’s all I do.”
