John Hood and Jim Martin to speak at CMRW luncheon

Author John Hood and former Gov. Jim Martin will discuss Hood’s new biography of the former governor at Charlotte Mecklenburg Republican Women’s annual Christmas luncheon and auction on Dec. 3.

The event will take place at Myers Park Country Club. A silent auction and reception starts at 10:30 a.m.

Hood, president of the Raleigh-based Pope Foundation, wrote “Catalyst: Jim Martin and the Rise of North Carolina Republicans.” RSVP at cmrw.org.
