Friedland named new chair of Mecklenburg Democrats
Mecklenburg Democrats have elected Marc Friedland their new chairman.
Friedland, 65, will succeed Robin Bradford, who resigned last month to focus on her race for the state House.
Friedland, who owned the former Talley’s Green Grocery, says one of his first orders of business is to find a headquarters. The party has been without one for months. Jim Morrill
