I am currently involved with raising funds for Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. I have donated care packages to the Women’s Shelter annually, fed the homeless and families in need Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner annually and have housed several individuals in our church as they sought transitional housing.
What is the biggest challenge the Mecklenburg County Sheriff will face in the following four years?
Building trustworthy relationships with the community and staff.
If elected, what’s the most important change — if any — that you plan to make to the operations of the Sheriff’s Office?
I plan to create a Sex Trafficking Unit that will work along with our local and federal law enforcement agencies as Charlotte is ranked #1 in the state for sex trafficking.

No.
What separates you from your primary opponents?
I am the only candidate that has served as a detention officer and as a deputy sheriff, has worked inside and outside of the jail, courts, and arrest processing. I have also experienced serving under the current and past three administrations.
What one professional or political accomplishment are you most proud of?
Becoming a deputy sheriff.
