The following are unofficial election results for the 2022 Charlotte City Council and mayoral elections.

All 168 of Charlotte’s precincts have reported.

Because of delays associated with the 2020 U.S. Census, the Charlotte City Council and mayoral elections are occurring in 2022 rather than 2021. Nearly 28,000 voters cast ballots before Election Day on Tuesday.

Winners will serve a term that ends in December 2023, according to the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections. Another municipal election will occur in 2023. Winners will be sworn into office in September.
