Today is Election Day in North Carolina. Polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and will close at 7:30 p.m. Any voter in line at their assigned polling place at 7:30 p.m. should be allowed to vote, the State Board of Elections says.
The busiest times are usually early morning and just before polls close, the state says.
