Map: Charlotte early-voting sites for Sept. 15 primary
Charlotte residents who want to cast a ballot early for the Sept. 15 primary can do so at one of nine sites across the city. Early-voting runs from Sept. 3 to 12 in Charlotte, where voters will pick Republican and Democratic nominees for mayor, as well as Democratic nominees for city council at-large and three district seats.
Registered Democrats and Republicans can only vote in their party’s primary. However, unaffiliated voters can select either party’s election. Same-day registration will be available at early voting sites, although the practice is in doubt for future elections because of a lawsuit over 2013 election law changes.
