Two more advocacy groups have released endorsements in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg at-large school board race.

MeckPAC, a political action committee promoting equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, is supporting Janeen Bryant, Elyse Dashew, Levester Flowers, Ericka Ellis-Stewart and Amelia Stinson-Wesley as candidates who would advocate for those students.

Advance Carolina, a group promoting black political and electoral power, endorsed Dashew, Ellis-Stewart and Mary McCray.

Nine candidates are seeking three at-large seats on the board. McCray and Ellis-Stewart are seeking a second term, while Tim Morgan isn’t running. Early voting has begun, and Election Day is Nov. 3.
