What are the most important issues facing Concord today, and how would you address them? I plan to address the top issues in a manner that protects the integrity of the city. The rate of growth Concord faces proves to be a top priority. I will address this by implementing controlled growth that aligns with the city’s infrastructure. Entrepreneurship remains the cornerstone of a thriving community. As Mayor, I will work to attract new businesses to promote job creation; youth workforce development, and economic growth.

How would you ensure Concord’s growth doesn’t outpace its infrastructure?

I would engage the community and implement collaborative governance when developing a way to ensure growth does not outpace the city’s infrastructure. During the community engagement I would stress the importance of preserving the green space and equity considerations. I then would require that a detailed master plan that outlined how the proposed growth will continue to align with the infrastructure be generated.

Why should voters choose you over others who are in the race?

When I am elected mayor, I will address the city’s priorities with open communication between the City Council, residents, and the mayor’s office in an effort to facilitate transparency. My experience in human resources, management, and communications will prove to be well suited to address The City of Concord’s future growth, economic development, and communication.
