What are the most important issues facing Kannapolis today, and how would you address them? Transparency, integrity, focus on citizen needs, common sense approach to growth, budget accountability.

Development, particularly downtown, has changed Kannapolis significantly over the previous several years. What’s your opinion on how growth and development is changing what things feel like living in Kannapolis? And what’s your vision of what Kannapolis should look and feel like in the next few years?

For the most part, the development has been very positive and beneficial. We have over 50 new businesses and lots of entertainment opportunities. Most citizens and visitors and enjoy the downtown area. Responsible and controlled growth is necessary, but not at the expense of losing the identity of the City Of Kannapolis.

How would you support improving parks, recreation and community spaces in Kannapolis?

I am certainly in support of improving our existing Parks and building additional parks as funds become available. I would encourage and promote some sort of recognition or memorial to the Cannon family. We need a balance between our senior community our youth community and everyone in between.

Why should voters choose you over others who are in the race?

I am a native of Kannapolis. I love my city and its citizens dearly. I am honest I operate with integrity. I am responsible and use common sense when making decision. I have a track record of serving my community and preserving the history of our great city.
