Four teens, including twins, vanish from children’s home in North Carolina, cops say
Officials in North Carolina are asking for the public’s help finding teens missing from a children’s home.
The four teenagers are missing from Black Mountain Home for Children in western North Carolina, according to a release from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
Two of them are 15-year-old twins, Emily Rebekah Garcia and Abigail Garcia, the sheriff’s office says.
They ran away from the Black Mountain Home for Children on Sunday evening with two other teenagers, the release says. They have friends and family in Buncombe, Henderson and Polk counties.
Both teens are about 5’5’’ tall, the sheriff’s office says. Emily has dark brown hair that she recently dyed with red highlights and has hazel/brown eyes. Abigail has long, dark brown hair.
Emily Rebekah Garcia previously went missing from the Black Mountain area late last month and was found soon after, WLOS reported.
The two other teens missing from the children’s home are Cameron Templin and Sara Pannell, the release says.
Templin is about 5’7’’ tall and 135 pounds, the sheriff’s office says. He has friends in Greenville County and was last seen wearing a black hoodie that says “godliness in training,” black basketball shorts with “athletic leggings” and Nike shoes, the release says.
Pannell is from Jackson County but no other information about her has been released.
Anyone with information about the teens’ locations should call Detective Scott Piper with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at 828-250-4448, Polk County Division of Social Services at 828-894-2100 or CrimeStoppers at 828-255-5050, the release says.
