Cocaine was also for sale at this computer store in North Carolina, deputies say

A business owner is accused of dealing cocaine from his store in North Carolina, officials say.

MJB Computers was offering more than PC repairs when undercover cops visited the business, according to the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office.

The officers were able to buy cocaine, racking up about 12 ounces of the substance, deputies posted Thursday on Facebook.

MJB Computers was supposed to be helping customers with removing computer viruses and making their PCs run faster, according to the shop’s website. The business is in Morehead City, near the coast and roughly 90 miles northeast of Wilmington.

Now, store owner Michael Jason Barkas is facing drug charges, Carteret County officials say.

Barkas, 37, was arrested Wednesday and charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and nine counts of cocaine trafficking, a felony, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was taken to the Carteret County Detention Center and was given a bond of $1 million, according to deputies.

Barkas was expected to appear in court Friday, state records show.
