North Carolina

Zillow Gone Wild called this NC home the ‘spiciest’ ever. Here’s why

If you’ve ever wondered what a “spicy” home listing looks like, this home in the tiny mountain town of Chimney Rock, North Carolina may be the perfect example.

The listing recently caught the attention of the popular real-estate social media account Zillow Gone Wild, which called it “the spiciest home” it had ever seen. The reason isn’t the price (listed at $599,000) or the cozy mountain architecture.

It’s the kitchen, where shelves appear to be lined with an eye-watering collection of hot sauces.

“Have the plumbing inspected thoroughly,” one commenter on Instagram wrote. “It has definitely been overused.”

The four-bedroom, three-bath home sits just a short walk from downtown and offers about 1,784 square feet of living space with soaring ceilings, wood interiors and a dramatic stone fireplace, all framed by views of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls. The house itself was built in 1948 and started life as a motel, and was once owned by a Radio City Rockette, according to the listing.
