A new interactive map offers a different look at the flood damage caused by storms earlier this month across South Carolina.
The map shows before and after images of seven sites in Columbia and other parts of the state. The latter photos were shot Tuesday as flood waters crested, according to Woolpert Inc., an Ohio-based firm that compiled the images.
Nearly two feet of rain fell across portions of South Carolina last weekend. More than a dozen dams across the state failed, with officials keeping more on a watch list in recent days.
