Myrtle Beach enforces horse ban on beach
Myrtle Beach officials have begun enforcing a city code that bans horse riding on the beach within the city limits throughout the year.
Myrtle Beach city spokesman Mark Kruea said the city had been receiving complaints about horse manure on the beach.
Riding into the city limits is a misdemeanor, which carries a fine of up to $500 and 30 days in jail.
