Cherokee and Clay counties under a frost advisory Sunday

On Saturday at 12:42 p.m. the NWS Morristown TN released a frost advisory valid for Sunday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Cherokee and Clay counties.

The NWS informs, "Temperatures around or slightly below 36 will result in frost formation."

"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," explains the NWS. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."

This advisory is in effect until Sunday at 9 a.m.
