Air quality alert in place for Northwest Piedmont Wednesday

On Tuesday at 3:58 p.m. an air quality alert was reported by the NWS Blacksburg VA in effect until Wednesday at 4 p.m. The alert is for Stokes, Rockingham and Caswell counties.
"Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection Winston-Salem NC has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for the Triad region for Ground Level Ozone, until midnight Wednesday night," according to the NWS.
This alert is in effect until Wednesday at 4 p.m.
