Air quality alert active for Mecklenburg County until 2 a.m. Wednesday

An air quality alert was reported by the NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC on Tuesday at 3:55 p.m. in effect until Wednesday at 2 a.m. for Mecklenburg County.
"The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality in Raleigh NC has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for Ground Level Ozone for Mecklenburg County, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday," adds the NWS.
This alert is in effect until Wednesday at 2 a.m.
