Air quality alert active for Northwest Piedmont until early Friday, says the NWS

An air quality alert was reported by the NWS Blacksburg VA on Thursday at 11:31 a.m. in effect until Friday at midnight. The alert is for Stokes, Rockingham and Caswell counties.
"Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection Winston-Salem NC has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for the Triad region for Ground Level Ozone, until midnight tonight," describes the NWS.
This alert is in effect until Friday at midnight.
