The Observer’s editorial board has made its endorsements for the Charlotte mayoral and city council races in the Sept. 15 primary:
▪ Charlotte Mayor: Republican Edwin Peacock and Democrat David Howard
▪ Charlotte City Council at-large: Democrats Julie Eiselt, Billy Maddalon, Claire Fallon and Vi Lyles
▪ Charlotte City Council district: Al Austin (District 2); LaWana Mayfield (3); John Autry (5)
