If the city wrote a holiday letter...

We’ve had another happy, busy year in our Charlotte household!

If you’ve visited at all lately, you’ve probably noticed: We’re renovating! We have lots of projects going on – seems like there’s never a day without construction workers or equipment all over the place. We hear there might even be work starting on the roads getting here. (That should make everyone happy!)

Our big news, though: Jennifer has a new job! (You may have seen her writing about it on the Twitter.) She’s been looking for something new to do, and she especially had her eye on this position. We’re all very excited. Some people even said she was a longshot!

We’re not as sure what’s going on with Pat. There’s a chance he might be coming home from Raleigh a little earlier than he expected. To be honest, that might not be a bad thing. He’s changed a little since he left; we’re hearing that he hangs out with the wrong crowd there. And you know how he’s so loyal to his friends.

Still, no matter what happens, he’ll always be our Pat. And who knows? Maybe this means he’ll get to spend more time with Uncle Rucho in Matthews!

That’s about it for 2015. There’s lots to come next year, including maybe some changes at school. But we’ll always have time for visitors.

(Except maybe Super Bowl Sunday. We think we might have plans that day.)
