What would you say to Donald Trump about his win ? Here’s what I’d say. Take the win. Enjoy it. Just don’t rub it in. Your job is to set the tone and select the team. I expect you to govern as a healer and a leader, not as a tyrant and a ruler.

Trump won

Thankfully, Americans across the country and spectrum spoke loud and clear on Election Day. Democrats have forced their agenda on this country long enough with horrible consequences. Voters finally showed we’ve had enough.

To all the self-centered celebrities and athletes Democrats have consistently leaned on to rally everyday Americans to help their cause — you failed!

I heard so many say they would leave the USA if Trump won. Good news is that you won’t have any trouble finding legions of Americans to help you pack. Happy Trails!

America lost

This is who we are. American voters have re-elected a shambling, impaired, felon whose previous presidential term featured record unemployment, multiple impeachments and a deadly pandemic.

The strong economy and lower inflation under the Biden-Harris administration mattered less to people than complaints about high egg prices and clandestine sex-change operations in grade schools. What does this say about our nation?

It says we’re not so exceptional a nation after all. America, we hardly knew ye.

Hybrids

My son lives in Brevard on 30 acres about 20 minutes from Asheville. He had no power for ten days. He has a well so no water for ten days. He also had an electric car that couldn’t be charged so he was stuck. Maybe we should be considering hybrids instead of electric vehicles as the best choice.

Be cool, Dems

When the Georgia legislature passed its 2021 voting changes, the Democrats and Major League Baseball were up in arms declaring the law to be restrictive, and MLB pulled its All Star Game from Atlanta.

In 2024, Georgia declared four million early votes were cast, a record number. This should be a lesson for the left that just because Republicans introduce a bill, Democrats don’t have to automatically oppose it.

Constitutional funeral

Would someone please let me know when the Constitution of the United States is scheduled for burial. Will it be private or open to the country? I would like to send a memorial if possible in memory of not just the Constitution, but for all the men and women who were so valiant in their support of it.

God help us

Trump had said that we are living in a “third world country.” For once, he was correct. Electing a felon, pathological liar, adulterer, sexual abuser, con-man, election denier who incited a riot in our Capitol is definitely “third world.”

In 2016, Trump was the dog who caught the car. He was clueless but did hire some capable “adults” that kept him somewhat restrained. The people he now has on his team are not bound by ethics, love of country, respect for the Constitution and rule of law. They will use the power of the presidency to attack everyone who opposed Trump.

In 2024, he has been given a ride by angry, ignorant people with no concept of what is to come. God help us.

Felon employment rates

Now, perhaps the multitudes of convicted felons that served their time, paid their debt to society and could not get a job because employers did not trust them due to their convictions can get hired now. America just hired one.
