Nolan Wilkinson is a local government reporter covering Raleigh and Wake County for The News & Observer. Before moving to Raleigh, he worked for The Frederick News-Post covering the city government of Frederick, Maryland. He has also reported on local government in rural Maine and urban Texas. He graduated in 2024 with a degree in journalism from the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas.
