Sports on TV: What’s on Wednesday

The Charlotte Hornets travel to New York to face the Brooklyn Nets. The teams are tied for eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Losing this game could be the difference between making or missing the NBA playoffs.

Both teams know the importance of Wednesday’s game:

In the college game, No. 12 Notre Dame at No. 16 Louisville with third place in the ACC at stake is the best game of the night.

The Irish’s fast-paced offense should be tested by the Cardinals, who celebrate senior night Wednesday. How well North Carolina native Montrezl Harrell plays – on both ends of the court – could be the key to the game.

In the mood for some afternoon soccer? West Ham United hosts a very talented Chelsea squad while the U.S. women’s national team continues preparations for this summer’s World Cup against Norway.
