Sports on TV: What’s on Thursday
If Davidson wants to solidify its resume to secure an at-large spot in the NCAA tournament, a win against VCU on senior night is almost a must.
The Wildcats would be in position to win the Atlantic 10 regular-season title with a victory Wednesday and have a greater margin of error heading into the conference tournament in New York next week.
Led by sophomore guard Jack Gibbs, Davidson enters the game on a seven-game winning streak. The Wildcats lost 71-65 in its other meeting with the Rams in January.
