The expanded ACC tournament begins Tuesday at Greensboro Coliseum with a pair of afternoon games. Boston College and Georgia Tech meet at 1 p.m. with Wake Forest and Virginia Tech to follow at 3:30 p.m.

The conference’s bottom four seeds must win the tournament to go to the NCAA tournament. Could one of these teams get hot at the right time to win five games in as many days?

For those stuck at work, the games, which air on both the ACC Network (WMYT in Charlotte) and ESPN2, will stream on WatchESPN and theACC.com.

Not interested in the first day of the ACC tournament? Real Madrid hosts Schalke 04 in the UEFA Champions League on Fox Sports 1 at 3:30 p.m. Madrid won 2-0 in the first round-of-16 leg.

At 8:30 p.m., the Dallas Mavericks host the Cleveland Cavaliers on NBA TV. Monta Ellis and the Mavs should be a good measuring stick for how far the Cavs have come in the past couple of months. Cleveland lost the teams’ only other game of the season by 19 points in January.
