The Charlotte Hornets host the Boston Celtics Monday night in a game with NBA playoff implications.

The Hornets are on the outside looking in, sitting just a game behind the eighth-place Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics are a half game ahead of the Hornets in ninth place. A win Monday would give the Hornets the tiebreaker against Boston, which could be the difference between making or missing the playoffs.
