Missing football? Madden 21 on Xbox Series X looks darn near like the real thing

Electronic Arts, the popular video game publisher, debuted a new version of its Madden football franchise during an Inside Xbox video presentation Thursday.

The company showed a brief clip of the upcoming next-gen version of the game that will debut on Microsoft’s next Xbox console that goes on sale later this year, the Xbox Series X.

And the game — introduced by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes — looks amazing.

Bonus? Fans who buy Madden NFL 21 for the current Xbox One game system this fall will automatically get the version for the next gen Series X console when they upgrade to the new hardware.
