The Atlanta Braves World Series trophy is coming to Charlotte. How to see it for yourself.

Fans of the Atlanta Braves will have the chance to continue to celebrate their team’s 2021 World Series title this week as the franchise brings its World Champions Trophy Tour on a run through the Charlotte area.
The tour, which includes a total of 151 stops in honor of the Braves’ 151-year history, gives fans a chance to see and take pictures with the Commissioner’s Trophy, awarded to Atlanta in November for the first time since 1995 after their World Series victory over the Houston Astros.
The trophy will be in and around Charlotte throughout the week:
It was originally scheduled to be on display at a Truist Bank location Thursday but will now instead be at the Academy Sports + Outdoors store at 580 E. Franklin Blvd. Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., a team spokeswoman said.
From 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, it will be on display at the Circle K Speed Street at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Tickets aren’t required at either location.
The tour will also be on-site Friday at the ACC baseball tournament, at Charlotte’s Truist Field. It will be on display from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. You’ll need to have a ticket to the tournament to see the trophy at this stop.
Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at milb.com/charlotte-knights/events/accchampionship. Friday’s slate of games includes match-ups between Wake Forest and Miami, and North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
If you can’t make any of the upcoming Charlotte-area stops, the tour will be nearby again later this summer, with a planned stop in September in Rock Hill.
