Carson Hocevar Delivers Epic Celebration and Emotional Reaction to First Win at Talladega

Talladega might be put under a state of emergency tonight. Carson Hocevar gets his first win in the NASCARCup Series. He does it, fittingly, at Talladega. He is considered one of the most wild and volatile drivers on the track, and Dega is the wildest and most volatile track.

Carson Hocevar soaked in the moment. He hung out the window, sitting on the door, and drove it down the grandstands. The fans were going absolutely wild, and Chili's is going to have one heck of a video and photo highlight reel from his celebration alone.

Considered one of the drivers of the future, possibly the future face of NASCAR, this win means a lot. Hocevar did end up hitting the wall while hanging out of the car, and that was a very sketchy moment. NASCAR and Spire will tell him to never do this again, but that is likely what makes it even cooler.

Following his celebration with the fans, Carson Hocevar did his interview with Fox. It was an emotional speech from Hocevar, who used to upload stop motion diecast videos on YouTube as a kid, after reaching the pinnacle of the sport he's loved for so long.

You could see and hear the emotion in his voice and on his face as he looked up at the crowd and spoke into the microphone.

"Yeah I just feel like every time I've ever, you know, seen the crowd and never really got to hear them," Hocevar said to Regan Smith. "I've had this thought up for a while and I've messed it up every which way to not be able to do it, and I don't care if it was going to take me 20 minutes or whatever I was going to figure out how to do it. It took me a while, I'm out of breath, but I'm just so thankful.

"This is the biggest dream I've ever thought of. Thank you everybody. I couldn't have done this any better way. Hopefully my grandpa's watching, I'm just so. ... My grandpa died last year so I'm so thankful that I can give my grandpa a trophy now, and I wish my parents were here. All thanks to Jeff Dickerson, and we rode the Dente today, that's for sure. ... Just unbelievable. I'm just so thankful. Thank you!"

When he was asked about the finish, Hocevar didn't go into details. He called back to an Instagram post he made before the race on Sunday.

"I posted on Instagram that I didn't really care, we were going to win, and we won," Hocevar said "So, I'm just so thankful. I knew we were going to win. I really did."

A superstar is born. Carson Hocevar has arrived and this win is going to be the start of something great.
