Bryce Harper Shares Status Update Before Phillies Game
The Philadelphia Phillies have had an odd year to say the least after beginning the season with a 10-game losing streak, putting the team at a record of 8-18 on April 24, which led to former Phillies manager Rob Thomson's firing as well as other changes.
Since then, the Phillies have rebounded to an 18-22 record, putting them in third place in the National League East. One of the key players in this recovery has been first basemanBryce Harper.
The 33-year-old from Las Vegas has appeared in all 40 games for the Phillies, batting .282 with a .380 batting average, a .549 slugging percentage with nine home runs and 23 RBIs.
That's why it was shocking to some when Harper was removed from Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies in the first inning. Later on, it was announced that Bryce Harper was removed from the game due to a migraine.
On Sunday, Harper offered more on the migraine, saying that he started feeling it while taking a ground ball in the top of the first, per Ty Daubert of Phillies Nation.

Fortunately for Philadelphia, Harper is back in the lineup on Sunday and is prepared to help get his team back on track as they recover from a tough start to 2026. Following the conclusion to the series against the Rockies, the Phillies have an off-day as they travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox in a three-game series.
