Bulls May Snag Player With ‘Size, Athleticism and Shooting' as No. 15 Pick
The Chicago Bulls are sitting pretty with their two NBA draft picks in the top 15, and while everybody is focused on their No. 4 selection, it’s time to give some love to No. 15.
The Bulls, of course, are in total rebuild mode. They have totally revamped their front office under new executive vice president of basketball operations Bryson Graham and are getting ready for a comeback year.
In a mock out on Wednesday, May 20, Isaac Trotter of CBS Sports lays out his picks after the Combine. “Beyond the measurements and testing, the conversations behind the scenes provide an illuminating look at where some of the top NBA Draft prospects are trending,” he states in the piece.
For the Bulls, he has Chicago going with shooting guard Cameron Carr of Baylor as their No. 15 selection. The Bulls have been linked to Carr repeatedly in the No. 15 slot, so it’s starting to look like a reality.

“Size, athleticism and shooting. Carr checks off those three boxes,” he states in the piece. “While processing and decision-making remain a concern for some scouts, Carr has a skillset that very few can rival at this stage of the draft. The Baylor product projects to be one of the top movement shooters in this draft class, and that’s a major need for a Bulls roster that is light on shot-makers.”

The idea of Carr going to the Bulls should be exciting for the Windy City. He’s got that crazy high jump and around a 7’1″ wingspan, and he’s also seen as one of the players in the draft with the most potential to pop. He’s a versatile point guard who can also handle multiple positions. While he needs more development, Chicago fans should be happy if the Bulls select him at No. 15.
