Daniel Cormier has a change of heart regarding Jon Jones relationship

Not many rivalries inside the octagon come bigger than the true hatred Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier once shared for each other. Twice during their careers under the UFC banner, Jones and Cormier collided, with their feud transcending the cage.

In a closely fought first contest, 'Bones' retained his light heavyweight title and handed 'DC' the first defeat of his professional career. Their second outing had a much more iconic ending, with Jones landing a devastating head kick and follow-up punches to stop the fight. The outcome would later be overturned to a no contest due to alleged substance abuse by the victor, but the animosity between the two men has had a steady upward trajectory in the years since.

However, over a decade removed from their first meeting, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier's relationship may be the best it has ever been. According to Cormier,

"Here's the deal, right?" Cormier said. "After spending that time with Jones over there in Thailand, honestly, he annoys me still. But, he's not as bad as I originally thought because when you're around someone with that amount of time, obviously, you grow and you learn more about them."

"I saw the video of him saying how stuffy I was and how horrible I treat the people around me, which isn't true. But even me, with all the history, I still can tell you straight up that he ain't what he was before to me. I don't have the level of dislike for him that I had maybe in the past."

As their bad blood begins to ease, talks of a wrestling match between the pair have surfaced.

Expected to be a seven-figure deal to compete against each other in wrestling, Daniel Cormier doesn't believe Jon Jones will accept the offer to prevent embarrassment.
