Patrick Ewing Surprises Young Knicks Fans With Generous NBA Finals Gesture
The get-in price for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden is thousands of dollars, essentially pricing out the average Knicks fan.
To combat this issue, Knicks legend Patrick Ewing teamed up with New York superfan Tracy Morgan to provide a unique opportunity for a large group of young fans.
On Monday morning, Ewing and Morgan surprised 250 kids with tickets to both Game 3 and Game 4 at Madison Square Garden.
“We have a surprise that you guys will be coming to the game tonight. Not only tonight, but also Wednesday night,” Ewing said during an appearance on the “TODAY Show.”

New York is two wins away from securing their long-sought-after title after stealing both Game 1 and Game 2 on the road against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs. With these series-opening wins, they extended their historic postseason win streak to 13 games.
