Michelle Beadle Takes Serious Shot At New York Knicks Fans
Michelle Beadle continues to throw jabs back at New York Knicks fans.
On Monday's episode of FanDuel's "Run It Back," Beadle, who doubles as a member of the San Antonio Spurs broadcast team, had some words for those still upset about Victor Wembanyama not shaking hands at the end of the series.
After missing the final shot, Wemby walked straight back to the locker room along with the rest of the Spurs, while the Knicks celebrated their first championship in 53 years.
Michelle Beadle calls out 'crying' Knicks fans
"One of my favorite things that's come out of all this is the crying that has occurred because it appeared Wemby didn't shake the hands of the Knicks afterward, and now we don't like that," Beadle said in a mocking tone.
"‘It's arrogant, he's a bad guy,' there's a lot of Knicks doing that to whom I respond, go burn something else down and maybe worry about what's classy and what's not."
Knicks fans respond to Beadle's 'embarrassing' comments
Knicks fans were quick to hit back. Claiming that Beadle's reaction was "crazy" and that she's just mad the Spurs lost.
"That womens salt is just bleeding through the screen," a user said.
"so overly emotional 🤣 calm tf down you ain't on the goddam team to even feel this way holy s-t this is embarrassing," another replied.
"Shorty more sour than spoiled milk 🤣🤣🤣" a fan laughed.
"There will never be a day that Michelle Beadle gives the Knicks any credit whatsoever," a New Yorker commented. "This is not surprising."
Wemby's handshake snub has dominated a lot of the conversation post-Game 5. But at the end of the day, nobody's going to be happy about losing an NBA Finals in their house - and the Knicks don't need it when they have a ring and the ultimate bragging rights.
