TSA issued an official "warning" to all fans attending the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup in the United States.
North America is the official host of the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup. Millions are traveling to the United States, Mexico and Canada to watch games. The majority of these fans are traveling through U.S. airports.
On Wednesday, TSA issued an official "warning" to all fans attending the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup, as a $100,000 fine could be enforced for improper behavior.
TSA warned that the areas around World Cup games - which are being held at several prominent NFL stadiums in the United States - are no-fly zones.
While drones can be popular at games, any fan using a drone to capture footage in or outside of a World Cup event could be punished, severely.

"There is zero tolerance and will be severe consequences for reckless, careless, or criminal drone use, including fines upwards of $100,000, criminal charges, incarceration, and the confiscation of your drone."
TSA, meanwhile, is warning that Thursday and Sunday could be extreme travel days, too.
"We expect heavy travel volumes Thurs. 6/18, and Sun. 6/21, where each day may exceed 3M individuals. Our teams across the country are ready to meet the expected high demand," the warning adds.
