If Senegal loses to Norway, they will be eliminated from the tournament with a group stage game left to play.

One of the players that Senegal will need to count on is forward Ismaïla Sarr. The 28-year-old winger played 75 minutes against France for matchday 1. Sarr was able to complete two dribbles against Fracne but did not produce a goal contribution.

Ismaïla Sarr is 28 years old and was born in Saint-Louis, Senegal, on February 25, 1998. Sarr has French citizenship through his mother, and he started his professional football career in France, with Metz as his first club.

His father is Abdoulaye Sarr, a former football player who works as a farmer in Saint-Louis, Senegal.

Sarr is married to Fatou Sy, and the couple has two children together. Their children are twins, and they were born in early 2025.

Sarr scored two goals just days after his twins were born, and he was praised by his manager, Oliver Glasner, who praised his professionalism after becoming a father.
