One of the latest social media trends going viral is the #SoGoneChallenge.

Basically you film a video of yourself rapping to R&B singer Monica’s 2003 hit single “So Gone” and post it on social media. Most of them are quite bad, honestly, but more than a few celebrities and sports celebrities are giving a go. New Chicago Bull (and permanent thorn in the Hornets side) Dwyane Wade has gone twice.

A sampling:

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lilliard may really have a future in the rap game. His is one of the best #SoGoneChallenge videos out there

Wade’s first attempt was pretty bad.

Having alil fun haha!!! I challenge #TeamWade @kingjames @cp3 @carmeloanthony do this #Sogonechallenge

His second, with boo Gabrielle Union, was much better.

Our favorite, however, comes from an unidentified teacher, who drops a #SoGoneChallenge to prove that if her students can write rhymes and perform online, they can write papers for school and recite them in front of the class.
