Charlotte FC vs Atlanta United live updates: CLT wins rivalry match on national TV
Charlotte FC hosts Atlanta United today for a southeast soccer showdown, one that defender Jaylin Lindsey deemed a “revenge match” earlier this week.
The regional rivals faced each other for the first time last month when Atlanta beat Charlotte 2-1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Charlotte (2-4-0) today is playing an Atlanta (3-1-1) lineup severely depleted by injury, with star striker Josef Martínez out for the next six to eight weeks due to a knee injury.
