Charlotte FC hosts Chelsea in a soccer friendly Wednesday night at 7:30. The game comes at an interesting time for Charlotte, which remains mired in a fight for the Eastern Conference’s last playoff spot.

The game comes just days after the team’s loss to Inter Miami CF and days before their next MLS match against Toronto, prompting interim head coach Christian Lattanzio to say that he’d try and make many substitutions to get his entire team on the pitch.
