Charlotte FC’s robust fandom is on display again.

Major League Soccer announced the top-selling jerseys in the league on Monday, and two CLTFC players cracked the top-10. Defender Christian Fuchs had the second-most jerseys purchased in MLS this season. Karol Swiderski had the seventh-most.

Per a release from the club, Charlotte FC, in total, had the most successful and top-selling inaugural jersey launch in MLS Store history.

This is merely the latest record broken by the Queen City team’s fans. The team also boasts the current MLS attendance record of 74,479 — which came in the organization’s first home match in March.

Fuchs is the team’s veteran leader on the back line. His acquisition was huge for the popularity of CLTFC in the soccer realm: The former Austrian national team captain was part of arguably the biggest underdog story in sports, when he helped Leicester City to a Premier League title in 2015-16.

Swiderski is Charlotte FC’s leading goal-scorer (with eight).

Los Angeles FC’s Gareth Bale sold the most amount of jerseys in 2022. His teammate, Carlos Vela, came in at No. 3.
