Who’s on the Charlotte Hornets’ summer-league roster?
The Charlotte Hornets summer-league roster will feature draft picks Malik Monk and Dwayne Bacon, and include 7-foot-1 center Przemek Karnowski, who helped Gonzaga to an appearance in the national championship game.
The Hornets’ 15-man summer roster will practice Tuesday through Friday at Spectrum Center, then fly to Orlando, Fla., for five games starting Saturday (11 a.m. against the Miami Heat).
Monk, a shooting guard from Kentucky, was drafted 11th overall. Bacon, a guard-forward from Florida State, went 40th in the 60-player draft order.
The summer roster will include Hornets veterans Treveon Graham, Johnny O’Bryant and Briante Weber.
In addition to Karnowski, free agents participating for the Hornets: Tyrell Corbin, Cal State Bakersfield; Anthony Gill, Virginia; Kris Joseph, Syracuse; Mangok Mathiang, Louisville; Quinton Stephens, Georgia Tech; Rasheed Sulaimon, Maryland; Tai Webster, Nebraska; Devin Williams, West Virginia; and Gabe York, Arizona.
